Job Description

The Conveyor Line Worker is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining conveyor systems within a high-volume production or warehouse environment. This role ensures materials and products move efficiently through the production line while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor conveyor equipment to ensure continuous workflow.

Load, unload, and position materials or products onto the conveyor as required.

Inspect items for quality and remove defective or damaged products.

Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on conveyor belts and related equipment.

Identify and report mechanical issues or operational hazards to supervisors.

Follow all safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and workplace policies.

Keep the work area organized and free of obstructions to maintain smooth operations.

Assist with line changeovers, equipment adjustments, and production set-ups.

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or assembly line environments is an asset.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs as needed.

Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.

Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and in fast-paced environments.
