The Work You’ll Do:

Prepare ship surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint.

Mix, apply, and finish paints, primers, and protective coatings on hulls, decks, and structures.

Operate spray equipment, brushes, rollers, or other painting tools safely.

Inspect painted surfaces for smoothness, coverage, and adherence.

Mask and protect areas not to be painted.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of painting areas and equipment.

Follow safety procedures, including PPE use and proper handling of chemicals.
