Job Description

As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing the storage and movement of goods within the warehouse. Your duties include receiving, tracking, and issuing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and safe. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely stock replenishment and collaborating with other teams to streamline supply chain operations.

The Work You’ll Do:
Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storing, and issuing of goods. Ensure accurate inventory records are kept.

Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, organize storage areas, and ensure items are easy to access. Regularly check for stock expiration or damage.

Receiving and Dispatching: Check goods for quality and quantity upon arrival, and prepare goods for delivery or shipment.

Stock Replenishment: Place orders for items when stock is running low and assist in managing restocking.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock movement using inventory management systems and spreadsheets.

Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure the storehouse is clean, well-organized, and complies with safety regulations and standards.

Team Collaboration: Work with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth and timely supply chain operations.
