Job Description

An Assistant for Painting supports professional painters by preparing work areas, handling materials, and ensuring the smooth execution of painting projects. This role is vital for maintaining efficiency and quality throughout all phases of painting work.

The Work You’ll Do:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas before painting.

Mix paints and prepare colors according to instructions.

Assist painters with moving and setting up ladders, scaffolding, and painting equipment.

Apply primer, paint, or other coatings as directed by the lead painter.

Clean brushes, rollers, and tools after use and maintain the worksite’s cleanliness.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

What You’ll Bring:

Willingness to learn and support the painting team in all tasks.

Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials is a plus but not required.

Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift during long working hours.
