Forestry Workers play a critical role in managing and protecting forests, ensuring sustainable use of natural resources, and supporting environmental conservation efforts. They work outdoors in varied conditions, performing physically demanding tasks to maintain forest health and safety.
The Work You’ll Do:
Assist in planting, cultivating, and caring for trees and forested areas.
Clear underbrush, fallen trees, and debris to reduce fire hazards and promote healthy growth.
Operate and maintain forestry equipment such as chainsaws, brush cutters, and other hand tools.
Monitor forests for signs of disease, pests, or environmental damage and report findings.
Support timber harvesting activities under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.
Maintain trails, firebreaks, and access roads to facilitate forest management.
Follow all health and safety protocols to work safely in remote and challenging outdoor environments.
What You’ll Bring:
Physical fitness and endurance to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of forestry practices and willingness to learn on the job.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow directions accurately.
Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
Good communication skills and reliability.
Working hours: 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week
Physical endurance
Must have experience relevant to the position
Communicative English or Russian is required
